I wonder if …
I wonder if Hollywood was poking fun at the US government a bit in this movie.

During the setting and the actual production of the film the US was still under FDR’s executive order 6102 of 1933which didnt end until Ford did in the
1970s

It made it illegal for any American to own more than a tiny amount of gold (enforced by the threat of prosectuction under the Trading with the enemy act) and all gold any american might own must be turned over to the Fed to be locked away in Fort Knox.

this movie is a satire, and it’s almost like a comedy.

It’s true, they …
It’s true, they made the same thing in band of brothers.

2 things give it …
2 things give it away as t34 made to look like a tiger,no overlapping wheels and the turret is to far forward

No that’s a tiger, …
No that’s a tiger, it said on Wikipedia, plus if you can get a t34 and tiger mixed, then you don’t don’t derserve to watch this movie.

subarumitsubishi says July 27th, 2009 at 6:02 am

Wow, I thought that …
Wow, I thought that was on purpose. Now I see the American flags… that’s weird.

you are right what …
you are right what a mistake very funny

vincentyeo88 says July 27th, 2009 at 6:02 am

sure it was! other …
sure it was! other old tanks were reworked to look like the real stuff, all for the sake of acting like real.

i think the tiger …
i think the tiger was T34 made to look like a tiger tank

Yeah recently a big …
Yeah recently a big load of those counterfeit notes were found at the bottom of a lake, apparently forgotten all those years until some fisherman snagged em. They ominously reported that the notes were well done.

If you google …
If you google limewire and then download the beginning free software, you can share and download files with other users. Among the things you can download are songs and MOVIES!!! So just search for Kelly’s Heroes, make sure it’s like between 400MB and 1GB and you should get it, hope that helped:)

Well these locals …
Well these locals are French, and the movie is set in Nazi-occupied France. So now that these Americans are here, and the only Nazi tank is with them, they are free from German occupation. If you go to Wikipedia, and look up World War 2, then you should get a good summary without it being too boring, hope that helps:)

Wait a minute, is …
Wait a minute, is that kid at 00:40 waiving a Swastika Flag..wtf!?!?

The germans also …
The germans also made lots of counterfeit bank of england five pound notes in an effort to undermine the economy.
These notes had been passing to and fro repeatedly undetected but the bulk of them hadnt been sent out.
Thet used these notes to pay spies etc and anything abroad.
When the allies advanced most were transported off in lorries but one lorry load was thrown into the river.
Allied soldiers and the local population were fishing them out.

Well, that’s just …
Well, that’s just it….what were they going to do with all of that gold? They couldn’t bring it back to the states. Switzerland was their only option.—And getting a truckload of gold all the way to the swis border and then somehow into some swiss bank would have been no easy feat either. Plus, these guys were basically AWOL..their absence would have been noticed at some point and pretty much they would have had to stay in Switzerland so as to enjoy their riches.

  • Gold Bar

Of all the precious metals, the gold bar is the most popular as an investment. Investors generally buy gold bar as a hedge or safe haven against any economic, political, social, or currency-based crises. These crises include investment market declines, inflation, war, and social unrest. Investors also buy gold bars during times of a bull market in an attempt to gain financially.

At the end of 2006, it was estimated that all the gold ever mined totaled 158,000 tonnes. This can be represented by a cube with an edge length of just 20.2 meters.
